Young AmeriTowne® of Kansas
Young AmeriTowne® of Kansas is a four-to-six-week financial literacy and career development curriculum designed for 4th-8th grade students that teaches basic economics, banking, money management, government, communications, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and employment.
The culmination of the classroom experience is a field trip to Young AmeriTowne® of Kansas in Lenora, KS, where students-turned-citizens fill real-world roles as mayor, judge, police officers, mail carriers, managers, accountants, key employees, and volunteer fire fighters.
Curriculum & Fees
Curriculum includes teacher orientation, student workbooks, student and business checkbooks, and other materials to help create successful classroom and onsite Towne experiences for you and your students.
Fees: $25 per student within Nex-Generation's 28 county region. (View Nex-Gen's covered region here). $40 per student outside Nex-Gen's region. Financial assistance may be available within Nex-Gen's region. Please contact us for more information.
Minimum: 25 Students Maximum: 80 Students
Please complete the enrollment form, indicating the current number of students per grade for the Spring 2027 semester. We will contact you when your Towne date request has been approved, when your YATK Agreement is available to confirm your “Day at Towne,” and plan for an incredible, hands-on learning experience.
